If the holocaust was wrong regardless of what the nazis believed, then object moral values exist.
If torturing children for pleasure is always wrong, then objective moral values exist.
Without God, there is no defensible grounding for moral values.
If a citizen says pull your car over, we don't need to do that but if a cop says pull your car over, we need to do that. Since God is the highest authority, ultimate morality comes from God.
Utilitarianism = Sam Harris, greatest happiness for greatest number of people. Unless we are omniscient we cannot know how to balance these two things, especially over longer periods of time. Another problem with utilitarianism is that it doesn’t take into account a person’s intent.
